This is the upper section of Sunburst Falls in Western North Carolina. I have shot it previously in the fall last year, however I wasn't thrilled with the final product, so I returned once more now that its summer to consider some different compositions. After about twenty minutes of puttering around looking at different angles, this is what I had settled on, a small portion of the overall fall, bringing the lower sections into greater focus, showing the textures on the rocks and the small selection of vibrant moss. Looking at the overall scene you can find where the water has altered the entire landscape, the water level was down but really helped the overall feel.
